PawAlarm

About us

Every lost pet deserves the whole neighbourhood looking.

PawAlarm turns a missing-pet report into a local alert that thousands of neighbours see within the hour — so the people most likely to spot your pet know to look.

What we stand for

01

Speed comes first

The first hours count the most. Setting up a search takes about three minutes and your alert goes live within the hour — no ad account, no learning curve.

02

Local, not loud

Your pet is shown only to people around where it went missing — the neighbours, dog walkers and commuters who might actually see it — not to the whole internet.

03

Fair and honest

One price, no subscription, stop anytime. We tell you exactly what we do for your search, and nothing renews behind your back.

04

Free help for everyone

The printable search poster and our local lost-pet guides are free for every owner — whether or not you ever pay us.

More eyes find them faster.

A small team in Switzerland

PawAlarm is built and personally run by a small team in Switzerland. We know the feeling of an open door, a full food bowl and a phone that won't ring — and we built the tool we'd want in that moment.

We read every message and answer personally. If something isn't working for your search, reply to any of our emails and you'll reach a real person.

Why we started PawAlarm

When a pet goes missing, the advice has been the same for decades: print posters, hang them on lampposts, post in a few groups and hope.

But the neighbours who could help walk past those posters with their eyes on their phones. Most cats are found within a kilometre of home and most dogs within the first two days — what matters is how many people nearby know to look, and how fast.

So we built PawAlarm to put the alert where people already look: in their social feeds, shown only around the spot your pet was last seen, live within about an hour.
