Tendring District Council's Dog Wardens collect found dogs during office hours (Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm, Friday 9am to 4.30pm), but can only collect up until 2pm daily because of the kennel location. Outside office hours, if the dog has no identification and it is safe to do so, you can take it to a veterinary surgery to scan for a microchip, though vets are not required to kennel it.
