Enfield's stray dog service is contracted out to Waltham Forest, and the Animal Welfare Officer works Monday to Friday 7am-10pm and weekends and bank holidays 10am-6pm. Outside those times, take the dog to a vet or rehoming centre to have its chip checked, then leave a message with your details and the dog's location. The officer only attends if the dog is contained, for example on a lead.
